Only five year contract and Altuve is much better player than Machado and Harper.

Much?

rWAR

Altuve 7 seasons, 29.8 WAR

Machado 6 seasons 28.0 WAR

Harper 6 seasons 26.1 WAR

Altuve has had more than a thousand more plate appearances than Harper and Machado.  Altuve is three years older.

I will agree that Altuve has been significantly better the last two seasons.

How tall is Altuve?

Sounds like the basis for an 8 year 240M offer, maybe add some option years

What I think is going to happen is that the Phillies end up in a bidding war over Machado and end up going higher than that.

Then Harper is going to demand the same contract or a bit more.

That contract will cover Altuve’s age 30-34 seasons.    Manny’s will begin at age 26.    That’s a huge difference.

Even through 34 if you were paying them 30 million a year it would 240 million for 8 years.  I think more likely they sign something like 8 years 200 million.  Assuming they have better seasons than they had last year.

Very possible. Though I think with a bit of competition that could easily end up over 10 Years. And 30 plus is now the number.
