On pace for worst record ever.  Most teams at this point would release their worst players and fire their manager and then win a few more games.  Not the Orioles.  Never one to rush into decisions this team has a legitimate chance to make the 1962 Mets irrelevant.

In a perverse way, it does stand out. I said it here before, the reason the "dark years" lasted for so long was that they never had a team that was truly horrible and lost 100+ games. If you are going to stink, it's best to stink to high heavens than to win the perfunctory 72 games and let everything continue as is.
