The trade speculation threads appreciation thread

It's been a pretty crappy season, and promises to get crappier over the next few months. (DID YOU SEE TODAY'S LINEUP?!)

But the past few weeks have been fun on the board. What a roller coaster.

I'll miss the trade speculation. (And if you get worked up by the waiver deadline and the possibility that someone claims Danny Valencia and the O's get back an organization's #45 prospect, you have a bigger O's problem than I do.0

My favorite moments of this whole thing:

• The initial horrified reactions to both the Machado and the Britton trades, only to realize they were actually pretty solid returns
• The 15 minutes after Gausman and Schoop were traded, and we all daydreamed about an absolute heist, only to realize that, well, they weren't.
• The constant threat of meltdowns by posters who really, truly thought they had trades pegged
• I won't lie. Fake Ken Rosenthal's Drew Peacock trolling. That was pretty amazing.
• Dan Duquette emerging with a plan and some cajones.
• Zach Britton's obvious feels for this organization.
• Adam Jones. He's all we have left. And he clearly loves us.
