I think there are significantly more ML pieces currently in the system than will be added in the next draft.

Seems to me Elias can’t be spending much time on anything other than hiring and getting systems in place right now.    He can start worrying about the draft in April.   The college and high school season starts in mid-February (for some teams) and the scouts have work to do before Elias starts getting deeply involved.

I kinda figured he was going to do all the scouting as well.

Well, he may need to if we don’t make some hires.    There are quite a few open positions in the scouting department besides scouting director.

I believe he has delegated that to Hyde.  I heard him say he wants Brandon building the major League and minor league coaching staffs
