Baumann's got to start next year at Norfolk, right? He only has 54 innings under his belt at Bowie but he's completely dominant in his time at AA. Plus he's not exactly a spring chicken. He'll turn 24 next month. It'll be fun to have a rotation of Wells, Lowther, Zimmerman, Kremer, and Baumann at Norfolk next year.

I would think he starts at Bowie not quite enough innings yet and it will be crowded their.  They probably want a guy that they can bring up early in the season if they have to and i dont think they will want to rush any of those guys up to majors early next season.

But he might be the most MLB ready from the group.

It would be more fun to actually see some of these guys in the majors - including Akin.

Yeah, he's no doubt in that conversation. He has the best fastball, slider combination of any of these pitchers and his ability hold upper level velocity deep into games is giving him a big push up the prospect list!

He was hitting 97 in the 9th when he struck out the side to end the game last night. Apparently he hit 100 too earlier in the game.

No expert here of course, but the way he is trending, given the obvious lack of quality options being sent out currently to pitch every 5th day, if he performs well in ST 2020, he has to be a candidate to break camp and head north with the ML club, right?
