The all star takes the mound tonight. You know something I just found out. you better sit down for this one. Frank Robinson did not make the list of all century team. 2. Two time MVP, Triple crown winner. At the time the list was made he was among the all time leaders in HRs and a few hits short of 3,000. Someone is higher than I am and that's hard to do.

How many more innings does Means need in order to qualify for the pitching stat races?

He has to have as many innings as games his team has played.   Tonight is our 86th game, so he would have to have 86 after tonight.   He came in with 75.2.   So he'd have to go 10 and a third tonight to be on teh list tomorrow morning.

Realistically, if he starts again in say the 3rd game after the All Star Break on Sunday the 14th (game 92) and 5 games after that (97), he would need 21 and a third innings in those 3 starts to get to 97.   So basically he'd have to average 7 innings over his next 3 or 4 starts to reach a qualifying level.   Of course as soon as we played the next day in game 98 he would disappear from the list.
