Johnny Cueto pitched 5 Shutout Innings on 69 Pitches in his first game back since Tommy John surgery.

Cueto had last pitched more than 13 months ago, on July 28th of 2018.

A good chance to get him some ABs to evaluate how he does against major league pitching.  O's management really needs to know whether he's ready for full-time duty next year.

Chris has had a rough year at the plate, but there have been times when his swing looks a lot better and he's closer to getting into a good hitting groove. I know that because I've heard Mike Bordick say so  . . . at least five or six times. :bs:

Dodgers with seven consecutive NL West titles.  Man, that is not good for Manny is it? lol.

AL East has been at least somewhat resembling competitive...over last ten years, giving the MFYs this year’s title,  that would be MFYs 3 titles, Red Sox 4 titles, Blue Jays one, Rays one and us one.

It's the little things that separate winning teams from "also-rans".  Baltimore get a lead-off hit and the runner advances to second on a wild pitch with nobody out.  A groundout advances the runner to third.  The next two batters fail to drive in the run.

Oddity:  This will be the first year since 2011 that the Red Sox didn't finish first or last.
