It's not surprising that the draft is looking different than many mock boards due to the lack of 2020 data to go off of due to the lack of games to evaluate.
Elias is clearly not afraid to go with a guy with one plus plus tool (power) which is a bit surprising for the #2 overall pick. His hit tool is probably plus as well, but the K-BB ratio prior to his short junior year makes him a bit of question mark when he has to face professional pitching on a nightly basis.

If EBJ develops? Sure. You can always package him or Josenberger.
However, think about Betts, a superior athlete who’s now moved back to the IF where he started after becoming a GG OF in right. He was blocked at 2B by Pedroia when he came up and then they decided he was too good in RF to move back, but he was always capable. The Orioles could do the same with JH if and when it’s apparent. He’s talented enough to play CF and move back to the dirt is necessary.
Went back and watched Cole's 2nd start back vs. the Mets. He did not look good, rocked for four homers. Weirdly, some fastballs in the 93 range, but then he'd pick it up again. And it made history:
the Yankees have played more than 18,000 games all-time, and this was the first in which a starting pitcher allowed four home runs while issuing four walks and striking out none.
I lived in San Fran for 5 years, went to many Giants games at the new park. Bring a winter jacket or a warm blanket as it gets very cold out at night at the stadium. Summer in San Fran doesnt start untill sept- november.
