Wojciechowski had pitched 5 innings of 2-run ball ......... but after throwing one pitch in the 6th inning (which was hit over the wall for a home run by Trea Turner), Brandon Hyde promptly removed him from the game.

All 3 runs that Wojciechowski ceded came via the long ball.

He left the game with his team leading by a score of 5-3, as his offensive teammates were able to get to Patrick Corbin, who has been one of the most consistently reliable starting pitchers in the National League over the last 3-plus seasons.

The solo home run in the 3rd inning was on Wojciechowski.

In my rat's ass of an opinion, the 2 runs that were scored in the 2nd inning were largely aided by 2 defensive miscues ........ and yes, his pitch-count was very high, but those 2 defensive miscues probably cost him an additional 10-15 pitches or so, in addition to costing him on the scoreboard.

On the other hand, he did get some help from Anthony Santander in the 1st inning, whose excellent, jumping catch at the wall for the 3rd and final out of the frame saved at least 2 runs.
