#50THANNIVERSARY

On this day in 1970, the Baltimore Orioles won a sixth game in a row with a 13-2 drubbing of the Boston Red Sox.

Mike Cuellar pitched a complete game to win his 23rd of the season.  Cuellar allowed the 2 runs on 8 hits with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.  He went 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI at the plate.

Brooks Robinson went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.  Batting in the lead-off spot, Mark Belanger went 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI.
