The bullpen is looking better with the additions of Lakins and Sulser. With the rotation settling into what they are, we can actually have MLB quality relievers out there instead of a bunch of “inning eaters”. 
 

It would be nice to be able to have Abad and a 1-2 of Sulser, Lakins and Hanhold out there. Maybe even give Mattson a look. He’s no 21 yo.

The Orioles' bullpen had a streak of) 13.33 )consecutive scoreless innings snapped in the 10th inning of this afternoon's loss ...... the run that they finally ceded today was unearned, due to the base-runner starting on 2nd base because of the extra-innings rule.

After Shawn Armstrong started a gasoline fire in the 6th inning, the rest of the bullpen came in and put out the fire to secure Matt Harvey's first) W )of the 2021 season.

Cole Young Sulser ) has not allowed a run of his own in 4.33 Innings Pitched while bouncing from the alternate site, to the taxi squad, to the Major League roster. He has 0 Walks, a necessary improvement after averaging 6.8 BB-Per-9-Innings last summer, and has tallied 7 Strikeouts.

apparently his FIP was -0.14 headed into tonight, hard to believe it got worse considering he improved his WHIP and K/9.

I'm liking the bullpen. Concerned they'll be burned out by mid-May though.

The bullpen has really turned the corner since Sulser and Lakins arrived. They’ve given us 12.1 IP of scoreless ball while allowing us to use Armstrong in low leverage situations and basically hide Wells. 
 

Leblanc is good for absorbing a beating if need be to protect the rest of the pen. Eventually I see Jorge Lopez ending up in the pen. Hopefully, his FB will play up more. 
 

IDK if Hunter Harvey will ever be healthy, but the pen is looking like it could be a strength as long as we’re not just scrambling to cover innings.
