It could also be that Mike Elias overvalues Santander as an extension of his tendency to overvalue vets simply because they're vets. I haven't completely made up my mind whether I believe that or not, but it's a dog's life for Kjerstad either way so it might not be a good idea to read too much into it. -

Murderer’s Row making a comeback. The lowest OPS of the first 6 hitters is .859. Three are over .900. They scored 14 tonight. Got that early April feeling again and that’s without Holliday.

I get where he's coming from and that's fine. But as I said, we've got a guy who's on pace for something like a 10-12 WAR season. IMO, this isn't a hill to really die on. -

I still believe the Orioles should not even consider trading Mayo, Kjerstad, or Basallo or Holliday..Im okay if they have to deal Norby, Stowers, and someone like Hays, Urias, or even Mateo....I'm not sure of no-trade status.But those guys can go if we have to deal them...I think Mayo is gonna be a power hitting star,...and Kjerstad not far behind...the others are definitely gonna be good too...the question is, what do we give up? I hope its not one of the names I mentioned among our prospects.. -

For sure. I am assuming the usual parameters of a prospect for a veteran. Skenes, yeah, I would do Holliday plus for him. -
