When I came back from work rather than checking the game immediately, I came here and read all the comments sequentially, and when I finished up to page 9 I was pleased that apparently there was no score so I went ahead and checked game day, just as the first runs scored.

Assuming Harvey not coming back out in the 6th: I'd say all of his starts since the ASB have been decent to outstanding.

Actually, for me, he’s one of the biggest pleasant surprises of the season. I’m surprise nobody has done a comparison of him and Wells, because they are both light-throwing guys who don’t walk many batters. I’ve watched all of his starts, and the only one that was bad was arguably bad because he was thrown off his schedule by being delayed for two days. So that is on management rather than on him. He’s also been squeezed by the umpires, and let down by the Defense.

By the way, does anybody else think it’s terrible that all the sloppy play that we are seeing isn’t rewarded with error calls? We see a crappy play and we comment on it but it still goes as a hit.
