• Orioles have lost 11 in a row
• Collin McHugh has not pitched more than 3 innings in a game, and has not gone more than 2 innings in a start, so this is a bullpen game for Tampa.
• Orioles are 1-11 vs Rays this year.
• Rays have the best record in the American League, despite losing their last two games to the Twins
• The Rays have been a streaky team this year.   They started 19-19, then went 24-5 from May 13 to June 14.   Then they had a 4-12 stretch.  Then starting on the 4th of July, they went 24-7.   So perhaps the two losses the past two days are the start of another down stretch for them.
• Nelson Cruz hit .294/.370/.537/.907 for the Twins, but since being dealt to Tampa his line is .182/.241/.416/.657.  He is not in the lineup tonight.
