Uvila actually made Fangraphs’ list of top Orioles prospects, at no. 43: 

“A 40th round pick of the Rangers who came to Baltimore via the minor league Rule 5 draft, Uvila’s spin rates were down a couple hundred rpm in 2021 compared to ’19, when he looked like a three-pitch relief prospect. His velo, however, is up. He may now have to lean more heavily on his screwball-style changeup; the deceptive elements of his delivery will help. He’s in an up/down relief bucket now rather than squarely in a big league bullpen.”

Gutierrez should've been added to that list (called a hit), Watkins can't be held to account for much this inning, with all the fumbling going on.   Martin had a popup lined up and then let it go off his glove.  Benboom threw a ball too low to get picked up at 1st, although it was backed up to keep the runner from advancing.  Gutierrez then let a ball get past him that should have easily been picked up down the 3B line. 

Now in the third, Diaz apparently had a bad route and let a ball get past him in the outfield, leading to a triple.  Followed by a ball that again gets past Gutierrez, tho more of a bullet than a missed ball. 

Now, a passed ball by Benboom to advance the runner. 

I mean, it's hard to keep up.

Benboom nails Palacios trying to steal second for the first out of the inning. 

Followed almost immediately by a WP through the wickets to score the runner from third.  Can't tell you how much I hate those.

Bemboom has been prettttty bad today. Not how you want to start off battling for the backup catcher position.

Just a reminder, playing in the outfield in Spring Training is pretty tough so I wouldn't read a lot into guys having issues.
