I have a feeling Ortiz is going to launch himself into a 3-way competition with Westburg and Henderson this season in terms of being that level of prospect.

I hope so.  He kinda disappeared in the discussion after his various injuries and being out during the Covid year.  (I think that's right)

If you believe Keith Law, he’ll be our starting SS by August.

He's really starting to get some buzz. Looks bigger, but still elite defensively. He strikes me as the kind of guy that just looks like a real shortstop out there, compared to everyone else.

Poor Richie - he makes 2 errors, then gets replaced by Ortiz who makes a dazzling play and turns a DP with Westburg.
