Bowie played 7 games against Harrisburg this past week, going 2-5.

There was a double header Weds.

The entire organization is middling or slumping right now. Well not that won-loss record is everything with MILB teams

That's sure what I witnessed over this past week, at least for Bowie.  Pitchers were clearly working on pitches, trying to change the ratio of offerings, trying to command their worst pitches through repetition against competition, moving position players around all over the place from game to game apparently to give them each a chance to get a feel for playing there or a chance to show their versatility.

This often meant focusing on being the better team overall went by the wayside.

In other words, they're not that concerned about winning in the Minor Leagues either.  Which I have mixed feelings about.

Frobby i enjoy your weekly updates.  Have you got the time to update the 3 short season teams ?

Sure, why not?  Obviously the SS teams don’t play the same team the whole week the way the full season teams do, so I’ll skip the description of their opponents.

For the record, as of the week ending June 12:

FCL O’s 2-2

DSL Black 1-5

DSL Orange 2-4

And they all lost yesterday.

At least De Los Santos and Basallo are coming around for Florida Orioles.

The Orioles Black have a couple of guys worth watching.  Estrada and Ramos.

The Orioles Orange are just a wreck.

I wonder if they will continue to carry 2 DSL teams in the future.  19 clubs still carry 2 teams.  Orioles don't have the chops to staff 2 competitive teams.
