How much longer will you continue to watch the fraud...MLB?

I don't how you people continue to support a team and a league as dysfunctional as MLB is. MLB is the biggest joke going. When you have 3 or 4 teams buying up every good player...the league is worthless. Why continue to pay hard earned money to watch a league that is a complete fraud? As long as you people continue to go to the game and turn your TV's on to watch bad baseball, the unions will continue to thrive. Get ready for Roberts and Markikis to leave, this only the 10th year of many more miseries to come.

I bet you won't find this thread on a Tampa Bay board.

Look back at the WS winners and realize that the "best" team doesn't always win. It certainly helps to have the money for the big names, but in the end you still have to win on the field.

Agreed, I will be a MLB fan forever. The team with the highest payroll does not usually win it all.

sure, the Phillies and Rays went to the Series last year. The Rays will be good for the next several years. Kudos to them.

But when Longoria, Price, Kazmir, etc become Yankees?

Nope. I'm out. MLB has lost at least one follower. I've already been planning what to do with the time I used to devote to baseball...

I never thought it would happen, but I am disgusted by baseball right now. I am sure Yankee fans will call me a whiner and a loser, but that is how all teams not located in New York, Boston and Chicago feel right now.

The MLB is ripe for a BIG change... and it'll happen in 2011.

Watch the next strike totally eff up our playoff run.

It's nice to have an excuse to sit outside in warm weather with friends and drink beer.

I'm not sure that's enough to compensate for realizing you've been a sucker for years for a "sport" that is only marginally more competitive than professional wrestling.

There's warm weather, friends and beer at the local minor league ballpark too.
