This team can't really bat Mountcastle and Hays back to back. Both are such see ball hit ball hitters and tend to slump at the same time. Mountcastle needs to be moved down significantly in the order until he can get a professional plan at the plate.

He didn't try though. He was late on a high inside hanging slider and it was more of a late defensive swing vs being on the pitch. He's not seeing the ball well and not hitting mistakes. Basically the only thing he doesn't swing at are uncompetitive pitches.

He was way behind it and it went to right.. he was not intentionally driving it to right
