Is it just me or has Stowers really cut down on his swing, at least in certain situations?   I'm sure he still has the hellacious swing but you can so on both of those AB's that he really shortened it up to make contact.

I was thinking the same thing.   I don’t see him hit balls the opposite way that often.  Nice to know he has that arrow in his quiver.  

I really am anxious to see what he can do against major league pitching.

This month Stowers is off to a real good start in the plate discipline department with 5 walks and 6 strikeouts in 29 AB's (must be at least 34 PA).

Too bad. I really liked what he showed in his first couple starts in Bowie and was hoping he was another of those "diamond in the rough" finds when we picked him up.
