If he had reached for the bag with the right hand he would've been in; the fact that he only hit it with his left hand, I think the tag got him first.

I was thinking the same. 

I still think he was safe, but they probably just didn't have enough to overturn it

I don't mind him going for it with the way our offense has been going today. At least if he's on third, maybe he gets in on a sac fly.

He's easily safe if he moves to the left a little and hits the bag with his right hand.
