That hit was strange - it was roped down the left field line.  Once it hit the fence, it just sat and spun in the dirt, it didn't carem back into the field.  Hays got a little mixed up because of it.  Great play to get Altuve.

Three batters with good contact against Kremer in the first.  He needs to tighten that up or this his will find holes.

Glad we had the mini tutorial by someone last night on making outs at third.  Palmer was adamant about it.

It honestly took two perfect throws to get him.   Altuve probably makes it 9 out of 10 times.   We just actually did it perfect.

So the Rays and Mariners have the tiebreak against us and Toronto doesn't, so we are effectively 5 back in the loss column to all 3 teams.

Makes it pretty simple... To make the playoffs one of those 3 teams has to lose 5 more games than we do in the next 13 days.

Honestly, to me it looked really awkward.  I know hitting a cutoff man makes it rapid enough to get him out, but it seemed like Mateo was only like five feet away from Gunnar.
