This was a great read and Watkins is a easy guy to root for.

Thoughts on if he makes the 26 man roster? I've always liked him and gotten the feeling that Elias does as well, he took a big step forward last year and would be cool to see him continue

It will probably take an injury to someone on the major league pitching staff to get Watkins to Baltimore.  But pitchers do get injured.  He has options which makes it easy to send him down to begin the season.

He may not be there on opening day but will probably spend time on the roster

He spent about 7 years in the minors.  He easily could have given up and nobody would have blamed him.  But he didn't and he persevered.  I hope he has a great 2023.
