I think most teams have a rough bottom of the lineup, but that one seems pretty rough. Obviously Mateo getting warm again would change that perspective.

Mateo is an important lineup piece because he adds great depth when he’s going well. A guy hitting like he does in his hit streaks down in the 8/9 hole is a huge difference maker. Turns the order over, and guys in base when it does.

6-10 2 homers 2 doubles with 6 RBI pretty good night for 7-9 hitters.
