When Ortiz is healthy I really want to see Hyde benching Mateo.  Mateo should be super utility, late inning defensive replacement and pinch running when we need a base stolen late in games.   Sure he is a great defensive SS but his time as a starter is got to be running nearly out.  He is what he is.  A .220 hitter.  Period.   

Bring up Ortiz or put Gunnar at SS and bring Westburg to play third.   Mateo is killing us.

We really should replace both of them for one of our super rookies.  Especially for Mateo.  He has no baseball IQ.  He has no discipline and likely never will.
