It looks like we have saved about 200k so far with the first two signed.  That can help with some later over slot guys down the draft.

Looks like we are making good headway in signings. Going to be some tough overslots in the later rounds. Can't imagine we sign close ot half of them.

I’m guessing our 10th rounder Etzel, whose slot is only 167K, and described as big, super athletic, and able to stay in CF as an overslot.    I think we sign our top 10 guys.   Looks like we won’t be signing #15 Lott, #18 Witt, and #19 Ritchie,  all of whom would have been some type of overslot.   About 150-200K probably saved on #2 Horvath and the #8 and #9 picks.     That’s about 500K extra towards Baumeister and/or Etzel without dipping into the 5% overage.

So, by deduction that leaves Baumeiseter and the 14th round pitcher left with the assumption that #15 (Lott), #18 (Witt), and #19 (Ritchie) are not signing.    Baumeister being, most likely, overslot with some leverage.

And Michael Forret was in JuCo, so the Orioles have until just prior to the next draft to sign him?  (if funds are still available).

I hope this big a percentage this early is a leading indicator the org's attention turning towards 13 days away sooner rather than later.
