Exciting game so far thanks to the players.

But I would take our guys of Kevin Brown, Ben McDonald, and Jim Palmer over that Fox crew led by Joe Davis. His voice puts me to sleep. At least Kevin has a good sports voice and is exciting.

No love for Melanie?  Everyone is using her these days.  I see her on all kinds of programs.  Hope someone snatches her up and promotes her out of this little pond.

Wasn't there a batter last year that was mic'd and the announcers were saying watch pitch was being thrown?

Imagine wearing a big ear piece and trying to pitch?  And talking to the broadcast team?  Very odd I am sure.

I don't mind the fielders doing it occasionally. Eovaldi doing it is bad TV because he's not saying anything and the announcers are being mostly silent, probably because commentating on the pitching of the guy they're on the phone with feels kinda weird.
