Seemed like the right call.  The frame where his foot goes vertical, he didn't yet have the ball by like... 1 frame on the side shot.  On the shot from behind, when his foot is in that position, it's off the bag.

I agree but I’m not surprised they challenged. 

Remember years ago when teams would turn double plays and they were so far off the base when they turned it. Im Glad they buckled down on that.
