Sure, I would change my vote for Skenes, if nothing more, for current need.   He’s exactly what we need.   He’s proven he’s the real deal.  How long his arm holds up is anyone’s guess.   Could be 6 weeks.  Could be 6 years.

That’s not how untouchable works lol. Pirates are never doing it. *Maybe* they’d trade him for Gunnar, hypothetically, but the O’s wouldn’t.

Ok, I know tempers are short on here right now with the way the O's have played lately... but seriously, think about if you were a Pirate fan. Would you be willing to trade Skenes for anyone? He's already the face of the franchise. It's literally not happening. 

I don't think Holliday is completely untouchable anymore anyway. Near untouchable, but not to the degree Skenes is.

Fans don’t make trades, My temper isn’t short. Players they could replace Triolo, McCutcheon, Hayes, Taylor…. And McCutcheon is hitting .232 and batting lead off. 
 

So we could send Holiday, Stowers, Norby, McDermott, and DeLeon. Other guys we could offer are Mounty, Urias, Hays, etc. the prospect package would be a haul.

Well yes, we could offer a completely ridiculous package that is a laughable overpay that has zero chance of happening and is not worth discussing. You’re right.

At this point, I'm not sure Pittsburgh would seriously consider Holliday + Mayo.  You can call them stupid or whatever.  Scenes is starting the All Star game and might win the Cy Young this year.
