Saturday is Burnes Day vs the Royals

This team doesn't have the pitching to win a WS.

And the offense is inconsistent. Unacceptable to not score but one run after the 2nd inning against an average BP on the ropes wo a long man.

Relievers are notoriously unpredictable year-to-year.  It almost can’t be a surprise that so many of our guys from last year are sucking this year.

I get that. But when all you do is hunt the waiver wire, bottom of the barrel, the chances increase significantly that multiple guys won't be effective.

Yeah because the Rangers pen was so great going into the playoffs.

Well then how do you explain those same rister of relievers having so much success in the previous 3 seasons? The cosching helped them over achieve and those coaches aren't there to sustain that anymore.

With the exception of a few, relievers are volatile from year to year, especially the scrap heap guys we have.

I was gonna say last inning Salvy can only bat once more but looks like he will come up in the 9th, and that's if things go well.

If we set them down 3 up 3 down twice (stop laughing) he should be left in the on deck circle.

They have 8 freaking runs. I don’t care how they scored.

Who in this bullpen has achieved success for 3 seasons in a row? Most relievers are volatile assets. The results can vary from year to year.
