Why not try Cade Povich at closer?

Kid has big time strike outs.  You need that in a closer.

He is 4-1 with a 1.69 era.  37 innings pitched with 50k's.  Possibly he even can increase the K rate going only one inning at a time.   I know he is a starter prospect but we dont exactly need that this year.  And much like Oakland's Miller we can stretch him back out next year for a starter slot when Burnes leaves for the Yankees.

Worth a try?    When the other route is to trade for an elite closer and give up a Kjerstad and more.  Let the kid see if he can get some outs.
