.340 in 2004 with about 550 at bats. He hit .317 in 2003 but got hurt ... played in 96 games with 344 at bats. -
Rogers “higher ceiling” feels like an additional half inch in the crawl space type of comparison. I’d have rather kept Stowers, Norby, and Irvin than have Rogers in the organization. To stay more on topic…I’d have liked to see Irvin kept around. Next year there is a crazy lack of depth for SP. Irvin would’ve been a good 6th SP/long man if he had a good spring. -

I agree they should win the division to make the playoffs. The AFC North doesn’t look like there is 1 team that will runaway with it. -

If they are hitting like this in the playoffs then yes they are going to get bounced early. However that is not set in stone. The pitching has been better and hopefully Columbe and Grod make it even better. I still have hope that Santander, Adley, Cowser, and a healthy Westberg have a hot streak in them and they time it for October. Along with Gunner of course. So I am not, not looking forward to playoff baseball. Winning just one series will erase the second half mediocre play completely from my memories of this year. -
Rogers has the options and also a higher ceiling. But I gotta say, losing Irvin for nothing (2 more years of control, 4.86 ERA this year, 4.49 career), after trading what we did for Rogers (2 more years, 4.92 this year, 4.36 career) is not a good feeling. -

Who knows. Dallas got crushed yesterday and the offense wasn’t great vs Cleveland. Ravens certainly may lose but it’s not like Dallas is some overwhelming favorite. It’s a 50/50 game. I like us to beat Buffalo in week 4. Realistically, you hoped to be 3-2 after 5 weeks. Right now, 2-3 seems like the best to expect but we’ll see. This team will be very good at times this year. I still think they make the playoffs.
