Irvin had 32 starts in 2021 and 30 starts in 2022 and had a 4.24 and 3.98 ERA respectively.

That was pitching in Oakland. Irvin's road ERA was 4.57 in 2021 was and 5.26 in 2022. Irvin doesn't have the stuff to be a full time starting pitcher in the AL East.

I know it didn’t matter that he dropped that ball but it feels like Westburg has had a lot of concentration “errors”. It’s part of the grind of a full season and finding that focus, so it’s not something that I’m even remotely worried about.

Oaklands park isn’t really anymore pitcher friendly than Oriole park is now.

I was expecting a bigger crowd tonight. Pretty disappointing for our first SNB showing.

Me, too. Yesterday looked packed, though. Looked close to a sell out though I did not see the count in the box score.

This was my concern all along. It’s hard to survive/be successful with that command and velo combination. It’s just not good enough.

Has he pitched his way out of the rotation?

Right now, he probably goes to the pen when Kremer comes back.

The Os announced that it’s Grayson and TBA for the next 2 games..probably trying to figure out Kremer.

I don’t think Suarez ends up right a viable long term option either but he did pitch well the other night, so he gets a reprieve.

It’s so gross outside. If I had tickets for tonight’s game, I wouldn’t go.

Yesterday was a sellout. Tonight is not close. There are a few sections that are empty or very close to empty.

I haven’t checked the numbers but that’s definitely not true just based off of the insane amount of foul territory Oakland has.
