The reason I brought it up is they had him in the TV booth for an inning, celebrating his retirement, just before he did the radio broadcast.

I don't love Rogers but he's worth a shot and you're overrating the two guys we sent.  Stowers is nothing special.  I know you like Norby, and maybe he has some decent years, but these kind of guys are not hard to find.

It may not matter to anyone to hear what Palmer thinks, but he told me we over paid and that Rogers is a mediocre pitcher.

Jim is wrong. Stowers would not be a starter on any playoff team. Norby, we'll see if his defense is good enough to keep his mid bat in the lineup.
