We aren’t winning a World Series or for that matter, doing anything in the postseason if Adley isn’t playing a large role. We continue resting him like he’s 37 year old vet with bad knees.

McCann plays more than any backup catcher and has done nothing offensively. Only reason he plays is because he’s right handed

There are days off built into the postseason schedule, plenty of them.   He won't be taking many days off in the postseason.

Congrats, you have now become a shitposter. I'm embarrassed for you, you think you're the smartest guy on the board and it's not even close. Keep your echo chamber going, if you want to tough guy talk me, don't do it on a forum, be a man (hard for you I know, you have really thin skin) and send me a message so we can talk it out like men. As my favorite YouTube shorts guy would say GFC.

I don't care what you do to me, no wonder the Orioles took your press credentials, you treat the people who support you like shit. Keep kowtowing to the freebies. Peace out.

Lol.. You've become quite the crybaby.  Thanks for proving my points.

Here's the thing, you probably don't realize how little I care about your opinion of me.

He’s not playing 4/4. I do agree he has sit more than I thought.

The over/under for McCann playoff starts is 0.5. I think he play once in a longer series depending on matchup.

Folks, this is a very UN Firestone thing to write..but Im beginning to see our young talent stepping up and we are gonna wake up and crush some people...it may take a week or more...but the talent is evolving..im liking Holliday and Cowser and Mayo on the way...

Gunnar had time to make the throw and get the runner and he didn't do it.

I disagree. Would’ve been safe on the return throw. Mounty clearly saw the runner putting the breaks on. Should’ve tagged first base then got the guy in a run down.

    • Holliday replacing Mateo has been a downgrade as well. Offensively and defensively. Just reality.  We miss those two RH bats and their defense.
    • The Os haven’t had guys hitting on all cylinders at the same time in a while. We know about Adley’s struggles but Santander, while he has hit some homers, is hitting 212 with a 289 OBP since Aug 1. O’Hearn has a 631 OPS since Aug 1. Adley, OHearn and Santander are basically out machines right now. You also take away the injured guys and factor in the struggles of Holliday (playing everyday) and playing the guys we have to play and it’s no wonder the team is struggling. Right now, I think you the top 2 hitters in the lineup should be Gunnar and Mullins. Slater can be the second hitter vs lefties. After that, you don’t have anyone that stands out. Cowser is inconsistent and could lose ROY to Wells if he doesn’t pick it back up. And we have no idea what we are going to get from anyone else right now.    But I would at least have the table setters at the top of the lineup and just see how things go.
    • Mounty, Urias, Westburg and Kjerstad. That’s a lot more than you are saying especially since you are playing guys more often than you should (see OHearn), you are playing too many bad players because you don’t have anything else and you are also trying to play rookies at a time where they are learning but are being thrusted into more everyday roles. And that’s also assuming Adley is healthy. So basically, you have multiple “easy outs” in the lineup every game. Your lineup doesn’t have length. You have guys who are tired because they are playing so often.
    • If they need up playing KC it will feel like it. The bats obviously won’t hit, Witt will kill us and the whole team will run circles on our pitchers and Adley on the base paths
    • What a feeling that would be!
    • Agreed- the only way for the offense to soar its time for these guys to start producing like they did in the minors/like they have been drafted and hyped to do. I know thats easier said than done, but over the past 5 years no team in baseball has had more prospect position player talent than the O's come up through the pipeline than the O's and its not really close. You cant expect every prospect to stick, but- Gunnar, Adley, Westburg, Cowser, Holliday, Mayo, Kjerstad, Ortiz, Hernaiz, Norby, Stowers. Thats an absurd about of talent to all make their debuts from 2022-2024.
