On the one hand, he threw a lot of pitches which could mean a short start.  On the other hand, is it really a bad thing if Povich ends up pitching less innings?

Povich, like a lot of pitchers, throws so many waste pitches.  Pitches out of the hand that are so clearly a ball that nobody could swing even if they wanted to.

Miller was 11-4 with a 3.76 ERA last year as a rookie, he was a first round draft pick who came up and immediately lived up to his potential.   This year has been ruined by a shoulder injury so far, but everyone talking about him like he's some bum off the street is kind of ridiculous.   He was LA's #2 starter going into this season.
