He was hitting 99 even in some of his bad starts in the second. He might be slightly down but not a lot.

According to Baseball Savant, Emmanel Clase averages 99.5 on his cutter and Burnes averages 95.5.

I guess the good thing with him stinking up the joint is that his money can now go to other players. Imaging if the Orioles gave him a really big deal and he was doing this next year. Yikes

The harm is that those skipped innings would go to worse pitchers, and we're in a pennant race.
