What's amazing is that- Jones looks ten times better than anyone else at the plate IMO. In that same situation- just about every other Orioles hitter goes up there ready to swing at the first pitch as well- but they always seems to result in outs. Wiggington and Roberts have swung at so many first pitches in clutch situations like that this year- and I honestly can't remember a single hit. (I'm sure Roberts has some, I just can't remember)

Jones confidence at the plate is ridiculous and it really needs to start rubbing off on the rest of the team. I sure hope it does anyway. He just has no fear of the fast ball and pounces on anything and everything in his zone- which is HUGE.
