I wonder if MacPhail would balk at this in fear that Flanny might give too much insight on the inner dealings of the warehouse?

How much insight do you really think Flanny has at this point?? I'm sure he has some general knowledge and could probably make some informed predictions, but I doubt he has much day to day information. IMO this probably wouldn't be an issue.

I doubt whether #5 would want to do a lot of games but why not 10-12 games a year. Brooksie should have some role with the Orioles. He is, was and always will be Mr. Oriole, at least to me.
