Mora Having a Good Spring

Melvin Mora is putting up some nice spring training numbers for the Colorado Rockies.

In 41 at bats he's hitting .317 with a .378 OBP. He's played 18 games and they list him at 3B. I wonder how many other positions he's played this spring.

And while I'm glad to see Melvin having a nice spring - no, I'm not suggesting that we should have kept him or should seek to acquire him. I'm just glad to see an former O at the end of his career have a good spring for his new - and probably final - team.

Once again probably inflated because 1) it's Arizona and 2) he's probably getting in late vs minor league pitching. I still appreciate the guy quite a bit, though. We'll see him when he gets inducted into the Oriole hall of fame as the 2nd best 3rd baseman in the history of the franchise.
