MacPhail dodges 1st base questions again.......

Was looking at the interview of MacPhail patting himself on the back for the successful moves that he made, "choke "choke". When asked flat out about adding a 1st baseman, his tune didn't change from yesterday. He seemed generally concerned going from his expressions and body language when asked about this situation. He said "The Orioles were not as pressed about the 1st baseman need because of the many options available" . You could see the gears turning in that brain of his. How many options does he expect to be there if he waits another 2 weeks as usual? "Oh, that's right", he meant they have many CHEAP options.

Seems amazing that he's made 2 MINOR trades, and the "We're gonna be aggressive" approach has gone right out the window.

Could we please just add a 1st baseman ? It's apparently obvious now that they have no interest in spending to get better. It's always trade, trade, trade. "Andy, signing ABOVE mid-tier talent is allowed too. No change to this man yet in my opinion. He still has to play the cheapest guy in town, even when he's right on the threshold of actually improving . Choke , Choke (Millar) Choke Choke (Millwood), Choke Choke (Wigginton), Choke Choke (Tejada).

Havn't we earned at least ONE big named free-agent for all our loyalty through the chaos this FO has put us through since '97 ?

"JUST ONE ANDY, JUST ONE".

How different is Scott + Matsui/Thome/Ramirez from LaRoche/DLee + Scott?

He's right that there are options. I see five players above who all fill 1B and DH reasonably similarly and well for 2011.

Just my opinion guys. I feel we havn't upgraded as much as the Plus Members on here feel he has. Why does that require me to be kept under close watch by the leaders of the board?

So what you're saying, is that because my views differ, I should be done away with?
