    • Maybe the same Tides social media person who did the pictures for the May 2023 Grayson Rodriguez promotions will get to do them for the May 2024 Jackson Holliday promotions.    Baseball has at times been critiqued for not marketing its players well... I get doing this early as insurance if based on the early results they just think Urias is the better practical choice for the short term.    While OAK has a couple very talented Arms, overall their pitching isn't that strong. I think the 12th and 13th bats on the roster are especially light use on rosters where the first string is very strong, so Banuelos, McKenna day to day matters very little.    If Hays or anyone else on the first string was out a month, I believe we'd more likely see Stowers or Norby.
    • Anyone surprised to not see Kjerstad starting tonight against a right handset?
    • They had already shown their hand 5 times that this is what they'd do
    • It's not bad at all in terms of the clicking.  I probably do it 3-5 times a game for marginal ATS calls on pass plays (for which I only need to click 90 times/3 sec) and it takes 30 seconds or less each time.  That said, I'm sure folks who have more facility with the video software could go through the process you described in less time. Looking at what you're saying above, it seems like I should have 60 clicks per second, but the CBS broadcasts are 1080i and are exactly 30 clicks per second while SNF (1080p?) and Fox (720p, I believe) broadcasts are 60 clicks per second (easily calibratable to the on-screen clock).  Does this make sense with your understanding of how the video is transmitted and captured by a DirecTV (or other) DVR?
    • He's got an .866 OPS after a torrid Spring Training. How do you define "hitting?"
