Trivia question related to today’s grid:  name the five batters in Seattle Mariners history who batted .300 or better in at least four seasons.

Totally closing my eyes and throwing darts here with less than 30 seconds thought:  Griffey Jr, A-Rod, Olerud, Alvin Davis

The answer:

Edgar Martinez 11

Ichiro Suzuki 10

Ken Griffey, Jr. 7

Jamie Moyer 5

Alex Rodriguez 4

Only in Immaculate Grid would Jamie Moyer be an answer to this question.

Wednesday:  6/9, 33 rarity points, 6 Orioles (the most possible:  no Milwaukee 300 HR hitter hit for the Orioles, and obviously no single team player for Cleveland or Washington played for the Orioles).

Jesse Orosco 0.9%, Ken Singleton 0.5%, Eddie Murray 1%

Rick Dempsey 0.1%, Jeffrey Hammonds 0.2%, Hank Aaron 18%

Tyler Freeman 0.6%, Victor Robles 4%, Cal Ripken 8%

I rarely post here anymore since I've realized that I suck at this game compared to some of you guys.  But today I had my second lowest score ever, an 8, on what admittedly was a very easy grid.

Spoiler

Eddie Murray 0.8%, Charlie Gehringer 0.3%, Rogers Hornsby 0.8%

Matty Alou 0.3%, Fergie Jenkins 4%, Salvador Perez 0.8%

Sam McDowell 0.01%, Bill Terry 0.4%, Frank Howard 0.6%

I was especially proud of McDowell, who played 1B for part of one inning in 1970, in a game I attended.

9/9, 26 today.  There was an Oriole row.  I used 7 Orioles, turns out I could have used 8.

Spoiler

Columns:  Blue Jays / Played Outfield / 30 SB Season

Brewer Row:  Gregg Zaun 0.4% / Jeffrey Hammonds 0.2% / Paul Molitor 13%

Met Row:  Mike Bordick 0.1% / Melvin Mora 0.08% / Mookie Wilson 8%

Oriole Row:  Bob Bailor 0.6% / Tim Raines 0.09% / Luis Aparicio 4%.

Turns out I could have used either Tommy Harper or Jonathan Villar as Brewer 30 SB guys who were also Orioles.   There was no Met 30 SB guy who ever played for the Orioles.

Surprised you didn't have Edgar Martinez, he was the first one I thought of.
