It's mostly a young team. Not surprised a wily veteran like Stripling was able to frustrate the offense. And not surprised the young guys are making some mistakes on defense. They will improve.
But our bullpen has issues. It's not as good as last year's, and I'm not convinced yet Elias has a real plan for getting some better pitching, either short term or long term. Maybe the best we can do for now is wait and see what we'll get from Bradish, Means and Wells. And go from there.
He hit 28 Home Runs last season, and he hit 95 RBIs last season and 89 the year before in 2022. Making a bold statement like that, while technically accurate, still feels like hyperbole.
