The Cubs took an early 3-0 lead on a Jake Arrieta home run.

The Giants shipped away, took a 5-3 lead after a 3-run 8th inning.

Kris Bryant tied it with a 2-run home run in the top of the 9th.

The Giants won it on back-to-back doubles by Brandon Crawford and Joe Panik * in the bottom of the 13th.

* Panik went to John Jay High School in Hopewell Junction, NY, 20 minutes from Brewster.
