Wasn't Brady in the same O's draft as Bobby Bundy?

I understand he had a lot of trouble getting on the field. That Stotle list also included Coats, so these are guys that we could generally target, not necessarily with what is now certain to be the #4 pick.

Some good stuff earlier in this thread. Any refined ideas from you amateur draft followers on guys who could be good targets at #4?

What are some good resources to track these and other guys through the season? I don't mean just stats, but stuff that scouts look at. I'd like to have some knowledge of the class before like February this year.

If you PM me I'll give you some info on where I'll be posting scouting reports, videos and rankigns of all of the top HS/college kids. Don't want to use this board as an advertising space for my other work.

October I'm posting stuff on the big summer happenings, and will be down in Jupiter for the last big scouting event of the season (half the time working for my ML team and half the time freelancing). I'll have rankings by position, region, and an overall follow list (cumulative ranking) going up December, January and February.

Interesting mix.

5 position players (3 from high school)

5 pitchers (2 from high school)

One was actually listed as both pitcher and position player, and he's in college. I can't wait for your write-ups.

Nice list. I'm glad to see Marrero doing well at AZ st. I wanted him bad out of HS.

Early Top 50 prospects according to Orioles Nation:

http://orioles-nation.com/2011/10/11/early-top-50-2012-draft-prospects/

Not a bad list. Certainly has names to follow. I don't know how much Don has seen and how much he has relied on 2nd hand accounts, but I think some of the rankings are a little off based on what I saw this summer and what we've talked about in my org. But definitely seems to hit on the big names.

Really anxious to how see what the changes in the FO personnel will affect the draft decisions. Year after year I see folks on OH with knowledge on the draft talent looking down at the choices made by the O's. Sure would like to see a positive opinion on the picks made this year.
