Bump - curious what the general mood is on this guy now.

How many more 0-4's before it's time to ditch this experiment? Small sample size and all...

I never understood why he's batting 3rd. Not a huge deal, but kind of odd.

He does have a 24% LD rate so far this year, but his BABIP is .240. As a general rule of thumb you'd expect his BABIP to be somewhere around LD% + .12. Maybe he's hitting the ball well and having tons of bad luck. On the other hand, he's also hitting truckloads of ground balls.

109 PA, SSS. I'd let him keep getting at bats, but think about batting him 6, 7, 8, something like that.

He's a lefty, and supposedly can fly. I'd expect someone with his skillset to beat out his expected BABIP on grounders.
