Yeah, I just can't bring myself to dislike Mo or Granderson. I think they're both pretty solid guys.

I think in your last sentence, you just answered it all. The best player ever at his position who was a true class act. That's the obsession and understandably so.

I would respect Mo a lot more if he would of given up 42 when it was retired.

He was given the option of keeping it. If you're gonna blame anyone blame MLB for not making everyone give it up. I don't have a problem with him being allowed to keep it until he retires.
