Alright, now that Schoop has made the team, I will revise my prediction, just subbing him in for Lombardozzi.

Good chance this is a the tough lefty lineup. I doubt (hope?) Hardy bats 2nd vs RHP. Cruz is likely to DH with Lough in LF more often then not.

Interesting Schoop is 2B and Flaherty is 3B. Is this giving Jon a shot to win the job the outright so many Manny return to 3B Flaherty is the utility guy?

Gotta love the competition.

Strongly doubt it. I mean, if Schoop comes on the scene and hits .400 with a 1.000 OPS then he will definitely have the job for the rest of the season.

What's more likely to happen though is that Schoop only sticks on the roster until Manny is ready to return. Then Schoop will be sent down to Norfolk for 'seasoning' until enough time passes when we get our extra year of team control. Then he could return depending on how Flaherty is doing at second.
