Flash is the best glove at 3B, and his splits v LHP are better than Lombo's. Apparently Buck agrees.

It must be frustrating for Steve Pearce. His best attribute is his hitting vs LHPs, he makes the team, and yet he isn't even starting vs lefties. I wonder if they'll trade him or Young.

Strongly doubt it. I mean, if Schoop comes on the scene and hits .400 with a 1.000 OPS then he will definitely have the job for the rest of the season.

What's more likely to happen though is that Schoop only sticks on the roster until Manny is ready to return. Then Schoop will be sent down to Norfolk for 'seasoning' until enough time passes when we get our extra year of team control. Then he could return depending on how Flaherty is doing at second.
