...... and it is still true, more than 4 months later:

And off-day is so much easier to stomach when the Orioles have/had WON their previous game.

They are 10-0 on games just preceding off days dating back to June 1st, and are 14-3 on such days for the entire season.

You have a lot of off days in the post season so that should be a good thing.

If you don't like off days because you miss the excitement of watching your favorite team play, I can relate to that.

But do you actually think that the Orioles would be better off with no off days?

The Orioles "lost" 1/2 a game to the Yankees today, but ultimately, all teams play 162 games, so it's not like they are having any kind of control over their destiny taken away from them.

A) A 4-game winning streak overall.

B) A 3-game sweep of the Red Sox, at Fenway Park.

C) A double-digit lead in the division.

Yes ...... I will miss the Orioles tomorrow, but considering all of the circumstances, it really isn't that bad at all.
